Getting ML is cheaper than a new graphics card

It won't be whisper quiet, but it does work OOB in ML

Sapphire RADEON HD 6450 1GB worked for me OOB on ML with GraphicsEnabler=No via DVI, or with GE=yes and AtiConfig=Bulrushes. Have not tested multiple monitors though. Performance is similar to HD3000.

Thanks. I may just update my CPU to a HD4000 Ivy Bridge instead of spending 100$+ for the GT640 (besides my H61N would not take full advantage of the PCI 3.0).

The funny thing is, neither does any single GPU in the market today...

Although the HD6450 might be an option (although there are mixed results and this particular GPU gets too hot), from what I´ve read it is not really that much better than the HD3000. But I appreciate your advice and at the end I may end up buying it for my Apex MI0008 (the problem will be I will have to find out a WIFI USB to connect to the internet as my PCI will be gone). This is why I am considering the option of upgrading CPU to Ivy + HD4000 (with my H61N motherboard). I will wait till I get more feedback (i.e. if someone has done this with my MB).

Would this work if I install two for dual monitor support? or does I NEED CrossFire/SLI?
