I think I ran the ATI package several times, shouldnt I ?
Also, I think I got an error on MB too, then it closed the Combo Update window (the that says to "restart").

OK, I will try it again soon.
After running the packages, and I restart ... should I still use iBoot to reboot?
Or should I just let it boot from the Sandy Bridge drive?

Thanks.

"If audio or Ethernet are not working run the installers for your particular chips as Andy's pack is for the pro board."
That's the part I'm not sure of, how to run the installers?

Adn yeah, audio and video didn't work the last time I used Andy's.
The Deluxe board is using Realtek 889, the Pro I think is 892.
And I'm using the Intel LAN, not the Marvell.

I'll probably try Andy's again, then Gordo's. :)

oh and use the realtec audio, not the universal.

Finally got a chance to work on this project again.

I followed Andy's procedure ... SUCCESS !
Well, not quite, as audio is still not working. But can now reboot without any boot disks.
Internet is also working.

In About this Mac, it reports the correct amount of Ram, but the wrong frequency, 800 instead of 1866. And DDR2 instead of DDR3.

In UEFI, I set the CPU ratio to 32, but it recognize the CPU speed as 3.4Ghz(34 multi).

So far so good, I just need to tweak it a little bit more.

Thanks Andy!

By the way, I also used TonyMac's MultiBeast to install the audio (889 for the Deluxe, but it's not working), the Lan, etc.
Also installed the BridgeHelper package.

So is this working vanilla now? If so please type a full guide for everybody ahha

I just saw your reply Andy. Will try that, but ...
I already ran your P8P67 Pro package again, and I can reboot again. Whew!
Do I still need to run MultiBeast and select the ATI experimental and download that boot file?

Also, I was able to edit the SMBios.plist to edit the DDR3 issue, by copying it first to the desktop. Pardon my newbieness.

Looks like my next issue is the audio. Deluxe is using the Realtek ALC889.
And the Bluetooth, as I want to use the Apple wireless keyboard and trackpad.

I appreciate all the help. You guys rock. :headbang:

No, if it's booting now then leave the bootloader alone :D

I will. I learned my lesson.

Anybody have any ideas with the ALC889 audio and Bluetooth for the Deluxe board?

Thanks.
