No Joy :( Ran EasyBeast and the rollback only. Rebooted and there was no mouse or keyboard.

Tried a real MAC keyboard... nothing.

What else should I install in EasyBeast?

Thanks

Dwight

Tried it a second time and also installed the drivers listed at the start of this post. Now the mouse and keyboard work!!!!!!

Thanks for helping me out. Now to work on the sound.

I just install Lion 10.7.3 on my DX58SO configuration, all is working fine for the moment, ........but i have no song.
I do a second time as you write to reinstall Realtek ALC8xx but no song ....

please help me digital spdif optical not working in dx58so

Up to step 7 is working flawlessly.

I'm on a i7 920 + Intel DX58SO + ATI 4870, although i don't know how to check if i'm ok on the QE/CI thingy.

About to update to 10.7.4 (and then re-running multibeast for sound).

Will be posting back with updates, but so far the ONLY guide that installed without ANY problems whatsoever.

Thanks!!!

Update to 10.7.4 worked without glitches. You just have to re-run multi beast as specified in the original post.

Audio is even working with the coax digital output! Couldn't be happier with my Lion rig!

Run all the updates that were available (iTunes, Airport Express thingy, etc.) and all is working.

Now i have to import all my Leopard stuff.

Thanks a lot!!!

Great tutorial, crystal clear!

i also have core i7 - 950 and dx58so,
which DSDT file do you use for multibeast installation ?
or is it ok without it ?
i am going to install 10.8.4 on it.
thank you.

my audio do not work.
all other stuffs are working properly.
when i go to sound settings from system preferences,
it do not shows me any output component....
i tried that method but there is no difference...
is there any patches or other way to make it worked ?

thank you.
