Article: OS X 10.9.5 Update

Go to the System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement > uncheck the Mirror Displays. If this doesn't work, Repair Permissions and reboot. I, too, had the displays mirrored after updating to 10.9.5. I have several systems with a 5770 graphics card including a Mac Pro. I had to uncheck the Mirror Displays on all of them.

BTW, did you update following the procedure in Post #2?

I've noticed more problems with this update, Intel NIC sometimes hang.

Two times (so far), first time immediately after wake-up, the other time a minute or so after wake-up, the NIC just freezes. Control panel still shows a green light next to the Ethernet interface. /var/log/system.log shows

You might have to try Audio drivers from an older version of MultiBeast, maybe 6.2, 6.1 or 6.0.

broken sound for me, I tried with multi beast 6.2.2 and 6.1 and no joy so far, going to sleep fixes it for a short period of time, then it reoccurs. very frustrating. I'm on a gigabyte Z68-ud3h-b3 and trying to use ALC889

Be sure to read the important note in Post #2. If you haven't updated using MultiBeast for Mavericks in a while, it's best to do a full MultiBeast for Mavericks v6.5.0 configuration as there have been lots of changes in drivers, etc.

For Hp Probook this upgrade is very simple.Just upgrade it like normal. But before you beginning the upgrade"BE SURE MAKE THE BACKUP".

Step 1:Restart and Install for upgrade like regular way or combo update. I did with regular way.
Step 2:put your Unibeast Flash drive in your usb port.
Step 3:Boot choice "USB"
Step 4:Select your Hard Drive Maverick and enter command line " -x" which is safeboot.
Step 5:Install ProBook Installer 6.1.13r3.zip Select your options.Be sure you install the Chimera.
Than restart your laptop, take your usb out from your computer select your maverick .

How did you fix your bluetooth? Mine doe snot work after updating to 10.9.5:banghead:
Thanks

If you have Developer Tools installed (Xcode), you can do a full reset of Bluetooth system using Bluetooth Explorer.

Fixed problems for me once, when deleting preferences and reinstalling didn't.
YMMV though...

Updated without any tricks, 100% functional. :)
