[h=1]Z87M-D3H[/h]Not Behaving at all on 10.9.2 for me.
osx hangs and freezes after about 2/4 minutes of usage only in osx desktop
(Note boot up is smooth login fine) Can't move mouse cursor keyboard
lights don't even work after freeze

Can barely check multibeast or anything before it freezes

Should of left it with 10.9.1 as it was all working flawlessly

Unless anyone has a solution going to roll back to 10.9.1

Not really sure what to do about it? can't see any errors when I
boot -v and I cannot do anything once it freezes so I can't find info
on whats causing the issue.

CPU Power Management works OK for i7 4820k
AGPM for Nvidia GTX 480 is broken, or at least is broken for me. The card stays at 700mhz all day long even with the latest NVIDIA Web Driver 331.01.01b15

Are you using those in the boot.plist? Are you using display port or mini display port? And do you boot?

I've got an xfx 5770 single slot w an apple Cinema Display.... Nothing is letting me boot now.

I'm about to go back to 10.9.1 if I can't get this solved soon.

(I have a Cinema Display 27 connected to Mini Display port)

At Boot type: GraphicsEnabler=Yes; AtiConfig=Vervet , and it will boot up!

After Boot up I edit/insert this in org.chameleon.Boot.plist:

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Vervet</string>

Well, it appears my Haswell laptop doesn't care for the new kernel, and when I rolled back to the patched kernel that allowed the laptop to boot with 10.9.1, it hangs halfway through bootup.

It looks like we may need a new patched kernel for Haswell processors.

Nevermind. Found the kernel update notice on said page.

Strange. Won't work for me.

Do you have quartz extreme? I can use the old 10.9.1 amd5000controller kept w graphics enabler no... But then I only get 1400x500 resolution and 5mb VRAM.

I'll try the combo update again and try your boot line.

The bootline depends on the specific graphic card and monitor.
You can try other framebuffers in AtiConfig.

GA-Z86XP-UD3P, i7-2700K, 16GB, 10.9.1, MacPro3,1 system definition. Installed 10.9.2 from Combo Update, restart, install TRIM and ALC889 audio, restart, all good!

gotofail test reports OK!

Yes!

Thank you so much!

I re-did the 10.9.2 Combo Update. I did not redo the multibeast install. I ran GraphicsEnabler=Yes AtiConfig=Vervet and it booted perfectly! Quartz Extreme and video acceleration appears to be working.

I hope this helps others with similar gen cards and miniDP and Apple Cinema Displays. I have the single slot xfx5770 with 2x divi and miniDP. I think the ZM3 model.

Other cards might need different frame buffers than vervet.

My graphics is XFX Radeon HD 5770 (1GB) - Mini Display port

To be honest, I used MultiBeast to insert GraphisEnabler=Yes, to get the right syntax and then added to org.chameleon.Boot.plist:
<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Vervet</string>

Working perfectly after the redo on the combo update. I'm thrilled!
