used combo update, sound & iMessage not work after restart.
- Use Time Machine to restore AppleHDA.kext (for sound)
- Download new Chimera 2.0.1, then run to re-patch the iMessage.

then, run Kext Wizard to repair permission and rebuild the cache...restart... bingo ! everything fine ;)

Just finished finalizing the install from the Combo Update. Had to reinstall the following from MB 5.3.1 > ALC-892, Universal USB 3.0, Trim Patch, Realtek - Lnx2Mac's ethernet driver (don't know why).

All is now working. The system definitely boots quicker, shutdown is about the same.

Seems to be fine on my systems (GA Z77-DS3H), updated from the App store and reloaded ALC887 drivers in Multibeast.

i have the same motherboard and now it won't boot, only in safe mode.

GA-Z77-DS3H. Sandybridge i2600 with HD2000, AMD Radeon HD6870
Some problems:
1. Had to boot from UniBeast with all cards out.
2. Multibeast full update
3. Reinstall HD2000 via fudge. Then all cards back in again.
4. Primary monitor is display on HD200- BIOS says internal first. Secondary is Radeon.
5. All works well except for System Preferences- I keep having to force quit.

Update via combo installer went smoothly as expected. Sound driver reinstalled with Multibeast.

GA-Z68AP3 rev. 2 UEFI with Intel i3-2120 3,33 Ghz, Geforce GT 640 2048, 8GB RAM 1333, DVI 20" Cinema Display,
Belkin Bluetooth, Firewire, int. 1TB HDD, ext. USB3 HDD for Time Machine.
Magic mouse and wireless keyboard work,
sleep works with mac mini 5,1 system definition (although annoying unplugged disk error after wake up! Anybody has an idea how to get rid of?)

Updated successfully using App store although one issue in nvidia driver it says need to update to be compatible for 10.8.4 but everything else works perfectly even the Alfa AWU036NHR driver works great.
