Options for running Windows 7 OS while on Mountain Lion OS?

Hey guys,

Please forgive me if there is an obvious answer to this question.. but I don't know what it is and would love some advice.
I'll try to put this very simply:

My setup:
2 SSD', one for Mountain Lion OS, the other for Windows 7 OS.
2 HDD', one for Mountain Lion Media, the other for Windows 7 Media.

What I would like to know is if there is a way to run Windows 7 virtually on my Mountain Lion side, but have it be running off of my actual Windows 7 OS which is on the other SSD. So rather than installing Windows 7 again through VMware or whatever, can I somehow run Windows from my other HDD while I'm on my Mountain Lion side?

Hopefully that makes sense.. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This is possible, at least using Parallels. However, you need to be careful about boot formats and things. I wrote a, ahem rather long, post about my Parallels setup. Perhaps it will help.
