The IOReg is corrupt. IORegistryExplorer/File/Save a Copy As.., open file to verify and attach.

Ok I gave up trying with IORegistryExplorer, every time I saved it wouldn't open.

Using DSDTE seems to have worked.

Sadly, it's not working for me either. My machine stats are in my profile (nutshell: ASUS P8Z68-V LX w/ a Core i7). My ioreg dump is attached. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi and all that.

Seriously, thanks for all you guys do. I try my best to learn and fix on my own, but stuff like this is beyond me. Thanks again.

Delete S/L/E/HDAEnabler887.kext.

Ya, did that. Nada. I should have noted that my ioreg dump was post-restore so I'd have sound with the previous setup.

Should I reinstall your HDA, etc. then repost my ioreg?

You removed the alternate Platforms.xml with the download, and it's not included in MultiBeast! Please put it back! It's just what I need, I have that stupid 0x100202 Revision!!!!!!
