Tried 887_Lion_AppleHDA-Rev_100302-1 on my GA-H61M-DS2 (Rev2.2) F7, got no luck. :banghead: :banghead:
DSDT was set to 287 layout.
Try Audio ID: 887, reply with a copy of IOReg.

After I changed layout id to 887, it worked! Thanks! :headbang:

Thanks Toleda, but in the meantime I've finally been able to solve my problem. For me it was not obvious which steps to follow in which order, but in the end I succeeded.

For other people, who might be in the same situation, follow the steps below.

1) remove previously installed DSDL from /Extra directory, and remove all previously installed sound-kexts (*HDA*)
2) install AppleHDA rollback from MultiBeast 4.5.1
3) install Non-DSDT HDA enabler ALC887/888b from MultiBeast 4.5.1 (!!)
4) install the kext from the opening post (2a) with Kextbeast

Reboot, and sound works!

Finally this worked when everything else failed !!
You sir and toleda are my new heroes :D

Got a perfectly working audio on H77-DS3h F4 with ALC887.

This worked for me on Z77-DS3H

THX for your time Toleda !!

Open System Preferences/Sound/Output. Plug in you headphones to front green jack. What happens to Internal Speakers?
