Hi All,

I've been running my first hackintosh for about 4 months now. I've had a lot of fun fixing issues and learning the tricks of the trade. However, one issue has been plaguing me ever since the beginning and I haven't found an answer on this forum yet.

Sometimes, I won't be able to wake my mac up from sleep. The power light turns on when I tap the keyboard, but no response from the monitor. I am unable to ping or ssh into the machine during this state. This happens about once a week (slightly less if I run a disk permissions repair and rebuild cache in DPCImanager).

I've included the end of my /var/log/system.log.0. Can someone please give me a pointer? If there are any guides to help me debug, please let me know. Thanks so much!

I have a similar problem, but not occasional, all the time.

Everything was working fine, I haven't changed anything, neither added software or hardware for some days. But now, when my computer goes to sleep, I can't wake it up. Power light is coming back, but no display and it's not responding to anything. Even the reboot button won't work, I need to keep power button pressed to shut it then restart it. And it does that every I put it to sleep. My Gigabite motherboard display a E3 error code, wich means : "OS S3 wake for vector call", don't know if it means anything valuable :)

[edit] I forgot that my Hack was properly going to sleep all by itself as I specified in the preference, and it's not going anymore, it goes to sleep only if I ask for it in the Apple menu

Here's my console last entry :

Update :

As seen in this post : http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-support/144413-yosemite-sleep-wake-problems-10.html

I tried to disable Date & Time > Disable/Uncheck: Set date and time automatically
Time Zone > Disable/Uncheck: Set time zone automatically using current location

Restarted, put computer to sleep. Froze the same but the MoBo error code changed to 33, that means "CPU PEI initialization". I don't know what this means, but it can be helpfull to someone that is more knowledgeable than me :)

[edit] the screen won't go to sleep too, even if it's set to sleep before the computer, there's just the screensaver, but after that, no screen sleep neither computer sleep ...
