Hi, for dual 260GTX it's the same intructions¿¿?? i have 2x260gtx in sli bridge but when i install lion with once graphic card go well but when i put the second, load perfectly but when desktop appears i get a KP.

The DSDT.aml is not card-specific, so you should try that one.

I´m not really sure how it works, but for me it works any way.

I had the same problem as you have. One card was working well, but the second installed would result in KP, just as you mentioned.

DSDT solved my problems.

Hi, You guys are great! Just installed my 2nd GTX460 on my x58a-ud7 with Lion 10.7.2 and MultiBeast4.0.2+Chimera 1.5.4 and the processes is quite smooth. Now I have three monitor and one projector hooked up.

In my case there're 4 tips:
1. bios setup let pci-e x16 slot one
2. use the "in.plist" provided by "cRACKmONKEY421" - thanks a lot!
3. add the out.hex key into \extra\org.chameleon.Boot.plist
4. Graphicsenabler key seems doesn't matter, in my case it's yes

Hey Guys, This is one of my first posts. Before I start whining, I just wanted to say thank you! By simply reading the crap out of this forum, I have been on a hacked Mac since 10.6.7 The ppl here are amazing. I know nothing about mac and have still been able to follow the instructions. That being said....;

The post on Dual Gtx 470's I thought I had followed to a tee here: posting.php?mode=edit&f=15&p=262149

I am on lion 10.7.1

2 GTX 460's with a GA-X58-USB3

Located the pci slot addresses for each card with gfxutil
Card 1 is: DevicePath = PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Card 2 is: DevicePath = PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x7,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Saved in.plist with my updated PCI adresses

Used gfxutil to output out.hex to desktop

Copy and pasted the out.hex by opening it with text editor and pasting that (it was just a bunch of numbers.. hence the hex) in the string of the device properties key that I created. (is that right?) Of the Extra/org.chameleon.boot.plist, as I read that takes place of the com.apple.boot.plist in Lion.

I Set the GraphicsEnabler Value to "No"

I already had the Nvidia Graphics installed.

I am at the end of my rope here. I have been working on this for days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I have been reading these forums, but I have not participated much. I have a problem with my setup and I would appreciate some advice. I have followed the guide in this thread.

My Rig:
Asus P8P67 Deluxe Bios 1850
[email protected] 24/7 running 100% stable.
16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 memory
Crucial M4 Real SSD (for my windows installation)
2 x 500GB Seagate on Marvell RAID (hardware) for my OS X installation.

I put these in the in.plist
Gigabyte Geforce 470
DevicePath = PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Asus Geforce 470
DevicePath = PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

I did NOT include this one in the in.plist
Asus Geforce 210 512MB
DevicePath = PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1c,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

I ended up with a hex.out, and I added it to the org.chameleon.Boot.plist in /Extra

What I tried to do next was to install the Quadro 4000 Geforce drivers, which spat out; "Unsupported platform" and quit.

I thought, hmm. Maybe need a reboot. So I made a reboot, and now when OS X is trying to initialize the cards, I end up with a monitor that is blinking because it does not get any signals. The 470s crash hard, and I have to power down the machine for 30 seconds just to be able to turn it on again and post properly.

So, what am I doing wrong?

I now have the cards recognized and the right resolution. Still get the "unsupported platform" error when I try to install the retail drivers. And I have no QE/QI, which is not so nice. Any suggestions?

can someone please give me a working tutorial or files tht i cn download for my specific rig not a link to another forum please?

You slow? haha The guide is on page one. Only thing different to note is that the newer MultiBeast uses "/Extra/chameleon.Boot.plist" instead of "/Extra/com.apple.boot.plist." Same idea and same thing, just different file name.

Well ****.... I've done the work for you just in case you really are slow
I've attached the file YOU need. Just put the chameleon.Boot.plist in the "Extra" folder on your OS X hard drive and repair permissions in disk utility. I've included the other source file in case you want it, but you don't need it. These are for dual Geforce GTX 460 1 GB cards on PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) and PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1c,0x4)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

I downloaded your plist, changed the device paths to match my cards, exported out.hex , put it in exrtra/chameleon.boot.plist repaired permissions and BAM it worked!!! after a week of trying. I think it had something to do with the parent card settings. Thank you so much!
