How did you make it work? I have IGPU set to default and my GTX 1070 set to secondary. When I run Windows 10 on that config it never uses 1070 - the output stays black.
1. Set iGPU as primary in bios.
2. Set "Multi Monitor" in bios (if available).
3. Plug DisplayPort into iGPU port.
4. Turn on computer and enter OS X. Works ok.
If you need to go into windows, keep the DisplayPort in the port.
1. Shut down computer from OS X.
2. Leave DP in iGPU port.
3. Boot into Windows.
4. Login.
5. Since now you're on the desktop and everything is working ok...
6. Switch DisplayPort from iGPU to your 1070, your GPU will be usable now as usual.
If you need to shut down Windows:
1. Unplug DP from GPU
2. Plug back into iGPU port.
3. See desktop.
4. Restart or shutdown and go back into OS X.
Rinse and repeat.
It's pretty simple once you get used to it.
I actually ordered a $34 DisplayPort switch off Amazon so I won't have to plug/replug the port....until the WebDrivers are available.
