nVidia GeForce GT 520M works like a charm under lion 10.7.2.
GraphicsEnabler=Yes will do the trick fine enough. BUT DON'T USE PCIRootUID=1. It'll RUIN THE WHOLE THING.

Hey, I nearly have the same rig as yours. Did you install Mac through iBoot with any modified retail dvd? or just an original Lion ?

new installer

This is an installer for GTX 5XX cards.
It will enable QE/CI, OpenGL and OpenCL.
Created with Netkas Aty_init.kext and Tonymacs GeforceGLDriver.bundle.
Should work on this cards:
-GTX 560
-GTX 560Ti
-GTX 560M
-GTX 570
-GTX 580
-GTX 590

This link is giving me an "invalid file ID" and redirecting me to the main page? is there another source? I just picked up a GTX 560 Ti 2GB and I'm looking for the simplest installion possible. I just need it to work at least as well as my 9500GT, Win7 will do the rest since it's for gaming :p

to jaytobe :
I used a purchased lion installer app from app store and installed it by the unibeast method.

changed graphic card! I was about to shift to ati... but I liked this 560ti 2gb too much...

ths is card model: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130683

fully working, just added device id to nvidia kext like explained in tons of posts.

Cinebench score was 50,5 with model set to 3.1. Didn't get any freeze till now (unlike my previous 460, which had some after 10.7.2). I'll have to test it for a longer time though to be sure it gets no freeze.
I am trying model set to 4.1 right now, but graphic card performance in cinebench are lower (~46,7). who knows why? :p

Glad to hear this! I just bought that one, too :headbang:

had a freeze just like one hour ago. I then tryed to edit agpm kext. System seems stable. at least for now :p

Success with EVGA 590GTX without having to edit a plist.

Can you help me out? It seems like you are getting a good score on cb. I am only getting 28fps. Should I install the graphics the chameleon way? Even though I am not sure how to do that.

I don't get why i'm having so much trouble getting my card to work.
I'm suspecting its because it's a GTX570 with the 0x1086 ID.

My EVGA GTX 570 HD SC (device_id: 1086) is working very well in Lion. Currently not supported in Chameleon and the request has been made to add it.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130620

Two approaches:

A. Chameleon Graphics Enabler
1. Add device_id to NVDAGF100Hal.kext (use TextEdit)
0x108610de&0xffc0ffff
2. Set GraphicsEnabler=Yes in com.apple.Boot.plist or org.chameleon.Boot.plist (use TextEdit)
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
3. Run Kext Wizard and reboot.

B. Netkas ATY_Init (download from: http://rghost.net/15474371
1. Add device_id to NVDAGF100Hal.kext (use TextEdit)
0x108610de&0xffc0ffff
2. Install ATY_Init.kext in S/L/E with Kext Wizard
3. Set GraphicsEnabler=No in com.apple.Boot.plist or org.chameleon.Boot.plist (use TextEdit)
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
4. Run Kext Wizard and reboot.

Both approaches worked for me. I use Method A because I get better performance with it (cb: 42.3 fps, stock clock).
