NOVICE please help, im getting audio but no volume control, gt610

im using a
z87-hd3 motherboard
i5 4670k cpu
asus gt610 gpu
16gb 1600 ddr3 ram
128gb sata 3 ssd


randomly the sound just started working via HDMI cable, im incredibly happy about it, but i cannot adjust the volume via my keyboard or the volume control on the desktop, im using the TV remote to adjust the volume but its getting a little inconvenient, when watching videos etc etc

please help

1. OS X does not provide HDMI audio controls (No volume, no mute, no balance, etc.)
2. The connected HDMI device (TV, receiver, etc.) provides any and all audio control.

I used to have a mac ages ago with a gt610 with hdmi audio.

Try this kext here. My mom and dad still have this machine running 10.9.5 using this kext and the audio is perfect. Hdmi or aux.
