I had a perfectly functional machine working great until i stored it to leave for an assugnment abroad.

Worked great, 2 monitors, El Capitan, Asus P7P55D mb, Clover.

Yesterday, tried to launch it -no external drives, just one monitor, to start it as lean as possible. No success. Get to the boot manager, never to Clover log screen. Sometimes i can choose the ssd on which boot was installed, sometimes it just won’t be listed.

I am puzzled on what are the next steps i could do to troubleshoot.

Perhaps a difference as i don’t have same monitor and need to use an older connected on the DVI slot of my video card rather than hdmi? (Just an idea….)

Of course, nothing have changed during the storage time, so i would expect it to just start as the last time it was started (December 2020)

Thanks

When you store an old PC unplugged from power for years the CMOS battery often fails. When that happens you lose all of your BIOS changes that allowed you to boot before. Try replacing the battery with a fresh 2032 and then go into BIOS to make the changes required for your specific hackintosh.
