Hi,

My Hackintosh build works fine with vga but no display with hdmi or DVI.
I see the grey apple loading screen then the monitor displays black...nothing.

The hdmi cable works fine under my W7 partition.
 
If your monitor goes to power saving mode i suggest you try this:

Locate Info.plist file:
/System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext/Contents/

Look for Mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6 = Config1. Change the "Config1" to "none"

After that just save the file, Open up Kext Utility, update Cache and reboot.
And Your HDMI should be working.

but ApplePolicyControl.kext

which doesnt include Mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6 = Config1


 
Maybe the card doesnt support HDMI/DVI output ?

If it has a HDMI or DVI port then it certainly supports those outputs.
 
Not so sure

i've read multiple threads on non functionning hdmi Dvi ports.
i guess my card is not optimized for Hdmi display on a hackintosh

The statement about the card not supporting HDMI is what I was referring to. If the card has an HDMI port then the card itself supports HDMI, the driver is OS X is a different story. Having used many non Apple cards in a real Mac Pro and now in Hackintoshes, I've never encountered one where HDMI didn't work.
 
Well, maybe you should try mine ;)

I don't use OSX drivers I use Nvidia webdrivers for Mountain Lion 10.8.5

Ok,

I found out something...The DVI port is ok when i connect dvi output on another monitor having dvi input.

My monitor only have VGA and HDMI input.

Still searching...
 
Did you manage to fix it?
