Hi everyone,

MacOS did a update without my approuvement and I my GPU don't work anymore.

I am on MacOS High Sierre 10.13.6(17G4015).

The last nvidia webdriver I found on this website (which end by 108) don't work : "this driver is not supported".

Is this update very recent and have I to wait ?
Can I go bakc on my old macOS ? I really don't want to reinstall.

Thank you !

Yes, Apple has just released High Sierra Security Update 2018-003 :
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1984?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

You will have to wait for Nvidia to release a new version of web drivers for the new High Sierra build.

It is because of the desire to avoid these kind of problems after each update that I only use natively supported GPUs myself, such as GTX 760 and RX 580.

If you don't want this to happen in the future without your approval, go into App Store under System Preferences and disable automatic updates.

didn't work for me, I'm still stucked with a 7M display gpu. Anyone has any lead on this?

Solution from post#4 worked for me (GTX980)

I had to manually uninstall the driver before running nvidia-update.sh. I updated, followed by running Nvidia-update.sh which reported it patched the driver and said to reboot. Upon reboot I noticed the driver was not loaded despite the NVIDIA sys panel saying the NVIDIA driver was the current driver in use.
