using this as a reference
Laptop display fixes.
PinConfigs are not loading.
Find and remove duplicate realtekALC.kexts.
Verify: EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12/realtekALC.kext (one and only)

100 Series audio is not natively supported in macOS.
MultiBeast 9+ > Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx √ ALC892
plus √ 100 Series Audio
I just reran multibeast selecting ALC892 and 100 Series and restarting but the sound still isn't working. I reran the audio_codecdetect utility and got a different result. It is attached. I know the audio on my bios is enabled but don't know what else to do.

Edit: It is now working! restarted again to double check the BIOS (swear I didn't change anything) and restarted. Now it works!!!! Thanks for the help!!!

Installed 2 methods that conflict:
a. audio_cloverALC-120
b. audio_pikeralphaALC-110

Remove 1 method, see Realtek ALC AppleHDA/Post #1/Uninstall Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Run the scrip for the remaining audio, restart, reply with new files

Thanks Toleda, it works now!

So, the only realtekALC.kext i could find was in /Library/Extensions/
Is kextfind the best option to go searching?

Should this be moved to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12/ ?

Wrong command, use: ./AppleHDA8Series.sh -b AppleHDA -b AppleHDAController
Why is Audio ID: 3 installed? Use Audio ID: 1.
Not attached, not helpful. Attach the compressed kexts.
Run AppleHDA8Series.sh as noted
Restart, reply with new actual requested files.

Success! Running the command correctly solved the problem. Thanks!

Yes.
SIP must be disabled. Remove L/E/realtekALC.kext. Allow kernel cache rebuild.
Restart, reply with new files.

Ok, see attached.

realtekALC.kext now comes from /efi/clover/kexts/11.12

I found AppleHDA_ALC293.kext in /L/E/
Apologies for not seeing this earlier. Does it effect? I think it came from my timemachine restore. Delete?
