Native Vega 56 Support Now/Soon?

The Sapphire RX580 seems to be a popular graphics option as of late because of its native support. On the same day as the big 30th announcement, Apple/Blackmagic released a "pro" version of their eGPU kit:

Any thoughts on whether an equivalent Sapphire Vega 56 card will have the same native support as the RX580 now/soon?

Vega 56 is natively supported on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later.
