Here are the steps
- Booting from IBOOT Legacy
- Using MAC SL Retail DVD 10.6.3
- Update to 10.6.7
- Multibeast 3.4 - easy beast, rollback USB driver
- Reboot with IBOOT legacy again
- Installing Legacy kernel 10.7.0
- Boot on (arch=x86_64 -force64 -busratio=29 maxmem=4096 PciRootUID=1)
- Reboot again to HDD

Currently booting from harddrive succesfully on 32 B or 64 b.
No lagging, display Ok, can change resolution.
Processor still unknown, and Memory still listed as DDR2 800 :(

I have the same results, Tadas. I tried following the steps given by gomugomu, but the mouse performance was still very laggy and video was stuck at 1024 x 768. I'm still getting MUCH better performance using the iBoot Legacy boot disc. I'm going to stick with this until someone is able to find something better. I would really like to be able to use the onboard audio and all 8 GB of memory, though.

Guys where do i put these command are those for the boot options

like -v and -x options ?

(arch=x86_64 -force64 -busratio=29 maxmem=4096 PciRootUID=1)

Thnx

Hallo Tadas,

habe auch das gleiche Board. Komme nur bis zu dem Zustand: Mac OS X 10.6.3 installiert. DVD gegen iBoot Legacy gewechselt. Auf Mac-Laufwerk gewechselt.

Was als Optionen eingeben?

Danke Bernd

Hi guys, here's my spec:

MSI H67MA-E45
Intel Core i5 2300 2,8Mhz
Kingston 2x2gb 1333Mhz
HIS HD5670 1GB

Another confirmed MSI board, :headbang:
maybe later i will post a guide for this specific spec :D

hopefully , in june there will be support for the HD 6970; still waiting till someone find a working driver that support it.

i don't know why they leave it behind, and only supported 6950, strange but
patience :beachball: wil be rewarded LoL :headbang:

Gumpie

And after that runnning a non legacy kernel whitin lion whould pretty fun also.
i don't like to switch from MSI to ASUS mobo, to expensive

Hi guys !
Last time I've installed OSX, the Core2Duo wasn't even out... and it was pretty easy.
Today, I'm totally lost, that's aweful !

What does the following means ?
AS OF 10.6.8 & 10.7 SANDY BRIDGE SYSTEMS NOW USE DEFAULT METHODS.

Does it means that that multibeast now support the P67A-GD65 ?
Does vanilla kernel works ?

... Should I buy a gigabyte motherboard as I need something rockstable ?

Put in my old BFG gtx 275 that was in my kids comp and it fully works 1920x1080 res plus ripple effect.
Gonna try some games , now if I could get my 580 working like this I would not look at Win7 other than for games which I am totally impressed by whats for a mac lately, plus no tri-monitor support I'm pretty sure.

Someone got speedstep working on a MSI mobo ?

considering the GD45 is nearly the same as the GD65, i think i can install osx on that fine, not?
