Following your recommendation, I've been looking for Xcode (5.1.1 for 10.8.5.) but I can't find it anywhere?

1. cd Desktop then cd New Folder or cd and drag New Folder to the Terminal window
2. Suggest Xcode; rename .xml to .plist, edit .plist, save, duplicate .plist, rename dup to .xml
delete .zml, zlib.pl .xml to .zml

OSX 10.8.5, spdif 2 pin header, SPDIF 2 wire output.


I have completed the procedure 7, (spdif 2 wire) edited Platforms.xml / Info.plist.
Unfortunately there's no sync with converter (via coaxial spdif. works with Win 7)

The only change I have noticed is that in Audio/Midi Setup / Built In Digital Output, the Format dropmenu now has 88200 & 96000 available as well.

(I ended up using Pref Setter, as the App store Xcode version was too modern for my OSX 10.8.5.)

UPDATE!!

It works perfectly, I was using the wrong Audio ID.
