Heya Scott,
When I installed 10.8 A few months back, I found a solution for the bluetooth problem.
There was a tweaked kext posted somewhere on tonymac. However I can't find it anymore.
So I'm stuck with the exact same problems I mentioned in this old thread.
After reinstalling (because I couldn't get 10.8.2 to work in an upgrade) I'm having a very long boottime again and bluetooth is slow again.
Boottime I fixed back then with the replacement trick of AppleAHCIPort.kext and IOAHCIFamily.kext.
However this is no longer possible. So in case someone knows a way to get the boottime from 2 minutes on an SSD back to say 15-20 secs. I would appreciate it alot
I will try to find the modified bluetooth kext again and when I found it, post a link here!
