Mountain Lion and Nvidia GTX550ti/Gigabyte GV-N550OC-1GI

Hello,

i wanted to ask if the GTX550ti is working on Mountain Lion now or are the problems with sleep and wake etc. still there.
It would be a pleasure if someone could tell me.

Hi, I have a Gainward GTX 550ti, which was no good, but recently I tried again. It is fully working now, not that I can tell you why, full acceleration, fairly good bench test,(8-900) Cuda working well with PP. Im not sure if it will work for you natively as I tried a few things a month or so ago which at the time did nothing. I have one fault (which is mild) if I start the computer up from a full shutdown, the screen will freeze after around 10mins -only cure is a restart, sounds bad but it really is not terrible if you are running SSD, after this its fine for days, sleep, etc no problems, in fact restart is much faster than off the HD4000. Again I don't have the answers, only the results.

The benefits of a half decent graphics card outweigh the problem.
