mountain lion 10.8.5 on dell xps 15 l501x

Hi, i have a Dell XPS 15 l501x with:

intel i7-740QM
4 gb ram
Nvidia Geforce 435M 2gb
intel hm57

with 10.8.2 all ok but when i upgrade to 10.8.5 sound etc doesn't work...

Anyone have links to make this computer works with 10.8.5?

Did you reinstall audio drivers after the update?

Yes, i've reinstalled all kext that worked with 10.8.2

Which were what? Patched AppleHDA or are you using Voodoo?

It is probably not a good idea to run a 10.8.2 AppleHDA with 10.8.5...

I think that was a patched AppleHDA because i found it in a guide to install Mac OS X 10.8 into my dell

If the AppleHDA is old, you may not be able to use it with newer versions of OS X. It is usually possible to create a patched AppleHDA from the 10.8.5 version and some select files from your patched version (Platforms.xml.zlib and layout??.xml.zlib). But you do need to know your codec id (because you need do know how to do the binary patch to MacOS/AppleHDA)

The patched AppleHDA works fine on 10.7.x, 10.8.x and above.
