Hello everyone!

Problem: i want to update my Haswell build to Monterey 12.1. Same situation after fresh install and boot from USB drive or after update from Big Sur.

"amfiloadtrustedkeysfromnvram no nvram variable" - error after select Install macOS Monterey in Opencore 0.7.6.

Big Sur works without any problem.

Did you ClearNvram and reboot the system after updating OC to 0.7.6?

Your GTX 760 is not supported in Monterey.

Why do you have all of these Laptop sensor kexts enabled ?

SystemProductName = iMac17,1 this is not a suggested SMBIOS for Haswell Desktop systems. See PlatformInfo Docs

The OP should remove the 760 and use HD4600 which is supported.

The SMCDellSensors kext is ok to keep for a Dell desktop, not the others.

For Monterey this will work and is an option as support for iMac15,1 was dropped in Monterey. The 17,1 can work for Haswell systems with a supported AMD dGPU but Macmini7,1 is a better fit for iGPU only systems.

I tried start with iGPU, no success.
HD4600 iGPU will work if your BIOS and config.plist are set up properly. You can upload your EFI folder for review after removing the serial numbers.

Tried with Macmini7,1 SMBIOS with iGPU. New error. Bootloop.

UPDATE

Fixed error IMG_0294.jpg by replacing correct info.plist in USBMap.kext with Macnini7,1 entries.

These are the BIOS settings to use for a typical Z87 motherboard.
  • Virtualization: Enabled
  • VT-d: Disabled
  • XHCI Hand-Off: Enabled
  • Legacy USB Support: Auto/Enabled
  • IO SerialPort: Disabled
  • Network Stack: Disabled
  • UEFI Booting set to Enabled and set Priority over Legacy
  • Secure Boot: Disabled
  • Fast Boot: Disabled
  • OS Type: Other OS
  • Wake on LAN: Disabled
  • Integrated Graphics: Enabled
  • Graphics: IGD/Integrated/iGPU/CPU Graphics
  • DVMT Pre-Allocated: 64M or higher

Are you using this ig-platform ID for your iGPU ?
