Finaly i have fixed up my build on GA-Z77_DS3H.
Audio back on with Toleda patch audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0.command
Ethernet crashing on ALXethernet.kext, but i have Atheros 8161 so it works like a charm with AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext (put both in /L/E and in /E/C/k/10.12)

Also try to create a folder 10.12 in kexts folder just above "other" and put your kexts in it

I always update my real Macs first just to see what the process is like. I have the latest MacBook Pro and this was a weird update. As expected, the system needed to restart but during the pre-boot installation process, I got blank screens and even a warning once that the system restarted due to an unexpected error, then proceeded to reboot again. I just let the system do it's thing and about 30 min later, I got the login screen and completed setup.

Given my experience, I would not freak out if you see some of this on your hack upgrades. This also has me thinking that I should just to a clean install on my hack.

It seems like you two guys had success with Z77-DS3H while, sadly, I did not.

So far some things work, including audio (after Toleda patch), however Wake from sleep does not work and if I try to install ALXethernet kext then it gives me "computer restarted because of the problem" and Kernel panic.

Not sure what to do now, I guess I will revert back to El Cap and check my options - if i won't find the cause of "wake form sleep" not working, perhaps it is time to build a new hack.

try EMU and OSIOAptofix 1 not the 2 that is chosen for you in 64EFI section when installing Clover bootloader. the Osioaptifix2 is causing problems for a lot of folks, the EMU cured my sleep issues with Z170 board which has NVME capabilities as well. It might work.

We should be so lucky, word is they're very close to the new version, and will update it very soon. Multibeast for sierra would be good too, although this version does work well enough to get things done.

Seems to work! You are my savior, thank you! Now just need to figure out the wake-from-sleep issue

Holy cow! What an easy upgrade this was! Completely unattended once I have launched the Sierra installer from El Cap.

Steps followed (using Clover):

1. Updated Clover to the latest version 3761 - I know people reported issues however I was using one of my guinea pig machines so didn't care
2. I always ensure that both EFI partition and the EFI folder on the main HDD match so I update them after each Clover update
2. Create 10.12 folder (I have not used Other) in Clover under kexts folder
3. Copy all kexts from 10.11 to 10.12
4. Launch Sierra installer
5. Enjoy the coffee, beer, cigarette. Come back after 20 mins (that is how long it took the upgrade for me)

A note that I didn't have to select anything at the Clover screen - Clover and installer did everything
