macOS 13.1 Update

Intel NUC8, attempt to update with smaller file failed (not sure why), then it downloaded the full 11GB image (!) and worked without troubles.

Successful update from macOS 13.0.1 to 13.1 on PowerMac G5 Grand Mac with Opencore 0.8.6. Like a number of other users, the small update download failed but the large one installed flawlessly.

Just in the 1-1,000,000 chance this helps anyone else...

13.1 fixes a print queue regression that was introduced in 13.0.1.

I use a vintage Epson pro series printer and 13.0.1 broke printing, where print settings from an app (Photoshop) causes the Epson print pipeline to die with a "Filter Failed" message in queue so no printout. (There are other settings bugs which may cause this error too but no comment on these for now)

This bug is quite bad because once you print from Photoshop the settings that cause queue failure persist as "last-used" and prevent printing from any other app—It took quite a lot of futzing to figure this out. Epson Support just points finger at Apple.

Anyway, 13.1 fixed this.

Yet another update completed on the H310T, though it meant downloading the full installer to get there!. Rocking OpenCore 0.8.6 at the moment, attempts to update to 0.8.7 through HackinDROM have stalled because I have Airportitlwm 2.2.0 which I guess is still in Alpha!.
