I had to change SecureBootModel value from Disabled to the one corresponding to my SMBIOS profile in order to see the update. Once the update started downloading, I changed the value back to Disabled.

Updated straight from Big Sur 11.6.2 to Monterey 12.1, with OC0.7.6 with all updated kexts, no issues encountered after around 30 minutes and several reboots.

I can confirm this behavior too after making the change, update showed up before that NO. also thanks for reporting this !

Yes, the SecureBootModel change of macOS 12 was a well covered thing by OpenCore team. It's why they reworked the way "default" works to match what macOS expects, so that users could set it and forget it type deal, and let OC handle what macOS expects. Going forward, this is recommended setting outside of maybe niche case with some Aldor Lake builds that need to turn it off to install base system, but can enable it again after.

I'm going to be moving my T440P from MacBookPro11,1 to MacBookPro11,2 SMBIOS and attempt the move from Big Sur to Monteray on my T440p as the programs I use finally have Monterey support.

The only thing I changed was my USB mapping and Serial, etc, wish me luck.
