Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

I forgot to mention that my sound was super horrible and crackly!
I had to use Multibeast 3.7.2 I believe to fix my audio because HDA Rollback kexts didn't work upon reboot. :crazy: Sounds better than it did before! :eek:

GA-H55M-UD2H, i7-870, 5770, no problems with the update, just needed to do an AppleHDA rollback for audio.

HOWEVER, the problem with p-states not being enabled correctly after sleep seems to have been fixed; I now see normal CPU core temps after waking (with 10.7.2 they would rise by 15-20C after wake and stay there).

That means that sleep is usable again! Woohoo!

I lost the ability to change my boot screen resolution.
But, I need to change the boot screen resolution, it looks horrible! LOL!!

I didn't know you could do that. Do you mean the splash screen at the beginning with the Apple logo? Mine is very low resolution. I'd like to make it 1920 x 1080.
How did you change the resolution in 10.7.2?

no signal after the logo...hd 6670 but with GraphicsEnabler=no I can get into the system ... anybody?
Switch off the GraphicsEnabler. Use pure radeon framebuffer.

here is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist

Code:
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
	<key>Kernel</key>
	<string>mach_kernel</string>
	<key>Kernel Flags</key>
	<string>darkwake=0 npci=0x2000</string>
	<key>GenerateCStates</key>
	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>GeneratePStates</key>
	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
	<string>No</string>
	<key>Timeout</key>
	<string>2</string>
	<key>Legacy Logo</key>
	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>AtiPorts</key>
	<string>3</string>
	<key>PCIRoot</key>
	<string>1</string>
	<key>Graphics Mode</key>
	<string>1680x1050x32@60</string>
</dict>
</plist>

with no its ok but system cannot recognize my card : ATI Radeon HD 6xxx 1024 MB

"ATI Radeon HD 6xxx" does not mean that the system does not recognize your graphic card.
If you have hardware acceleration working, all is ok.
Simply Lion use general framebuffer, and not specific one. And Mac OSX DVD application will not work probably. No big deal... .

But all the rest will be fine.
If all is working well without GraphicsEnabler- you will be happy.

- Updated to the official Realtek network card driver
- Used Software update to install 10.7.3
- Ran Audio Rollback upon reboot

Had some issues with my Airport Extreme not being recognized by the new Airport Utility, so I rebooted it.

- everything works now!

Auto updated my home machine threw apple last night or early this morning not sure. Only onboard 888b sound not working which is the only reason I knew it updated. I am going to do an HDA rollback which has worked in the past for 10.7.1 and 10.7.2
