Successfully updated my HP DV9700 from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 last night, so far no major problems.
I was hoping it would fix my sleep, shut down, and restart problems (doesn't work for me in 10.6.7 or 10.6.8), but oh well, the quest continues!
Oh, I didn't use "Software Update", I downloaded the combo update and saved it to a USB jump drive, installed from the USB jump drive, did NOT restart, used "System Utilities" in Multibeast, then restarted!
