My USB 3.0 ports weren’t working, so I opened Multibeast and selected the “third party USB 3.0” support option. After reboot, my mouse and keyboard were dead. I checked the ports with my thumb drive, but nothing came up.

What would you suggest my next moves be?

GenericUSBXHCI.kext does not apply to your hardware. Remove.
See guide for proper configuration of USB:

Thank you. I managed to get the GenericUSBXHCI.kext removed, thankfully. I'm going to wait until I have a better backup solution before I try the custom SSDT method.
