So you got the ASUS USB-BT211 to work? I bought one but I could never get it to work with OS X. It is only recognized in Windows 7.

Yes. Both FW800 & FW400 appear to work flawlessly. I have an Apple iSight camera plugged into the single FW400 port, and I have a external FW800 hard drive plugged into one of the two FW800 ports.

Nice one for starting a thread - can these also be added to the Wiki ? I think it's great to get people to input Tried and Tested gear but if we can get the Wiki up to date then it will be very visible to everyone !
