Ok so...
Anything lower than 70hz is cutting off, and anything above 17khz is also gone.

Maybe you have some knowledge of this?

Hi, I would like to enable HDMI Audio on Lion 10.7.3, Gigabyte P55A-UD4 (ALC889), Gainward GTX260 Golden Sample.

Hardware is working: HDMI Audio on Windows it's OK, but in Lion I hear some strange noise. I use only the latest Toleda patched AppleHDA (for ALC889 Kext).

From IOReg: my pci-bridge is @3

But in my DSDT.aml (in attached) there's no trace of PEGP, PEG0, P0P1, P0P2, or P0P3. I don't know how to proceed.

This one is corrupt as well. Don't add .ioreg to the end of the file.

Hi Toleda, I created the file with the latest version of IORegistryExplorer, Version 3.0 (3.0d1), downloaded from the official Apple's site (developers tool). Maybe there are some bugs inside it. The .ioreg file created with this version appears corrupted also if I try to open it with an old version of IORegistryExplorer, like the Version 2.0 (2.0b1) (downloadable from here: http://www.osx86.net/view/93-ioregistryexplorer.html).


I have made some try. Now I created a new file using the 2.0 (2.0b1) version:

Now I can open it with both versions (2.0 e 3.0).

Got it. Bad news, your graphics card (GT 260) does not have an audio codec.

Tip: You need to fix pathmap (and codec verbs if need) to get working S/PDIF on board (not on the back).
