Lets Install Yosemite on Gigabyte h97-gaming3, i5-4690, gtx-960

Hi,

I am starting this thread to install OS X Yosemite and to collaborate with other members to help me with this.

i have tried the clover method but without luck yet, is there anyone who knows compatible drivers and settings that would be very helpful.


System

MB: gigabyte H97-Gaming3
CPU: i5-4690
GPU: gigabyte-Gtx960

What is the problem in booting??

As you have GTX 960, use flag nv_disable=1 for installation.


Also update your build's hardware details under Profile > Basic Information section in the below format (Profile link is available on the upper right side of this website), So that we can avoid scroll back to your fist post for identifying the hardware details.

System : Motherboard + BIOS Version + Bootloader (Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU : Detailed CPU Model
Graphics : All Graphics Devices

For Example,
System : GA-Z97X-UD5H (F9F) (CLOVER)
CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K
Graphics : Intel HD 4600/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
