Hi,

Laptop Sepcs:
  • Core i7-3840QM
  • Graphics: Intel HD4000 + Nvidia NVS 5400m
  • Toshiba HD
  • Wifi: Intel centrino Ultimate 6300AGN
  • Camera, BlueTooth, USB 3.0
  • Finger reader
BIOS Settings:

  • USB 3.0 disabled
  • Graphics: Discrete Graphics ONLY
  • ACHI
What I have done so far:

  • Installed Mountain Lion (authentic Mountain Lion + Unibeast)
  • Using MultiBeast, installed the following Kext:
1) Bootloader
2) System --> Patched AppleIntelCPUPOwerManagement
3) Miscelleanous --> FakeSMc and PS2 Keyboard/mouse
4) Graphics --> Intel

Using Bootable USB, I can log into the OS. Now, the next desired step is to launch the OS without the bootable USB key and this is where i am having issues.

What I need help with (booting WITHOUT bootable USB key):

  1. BIOS Graphics --> Intel HD 4000 Only
    The computer boots all they way to the login screen. HOWEVER, any external or laptop's own mouse and keyboard are disabled. WHY? How do i resolve this?
  2. BIOS Graphics --> Discrete Graphics Only
    The computer boots up and as soon as it is suppose to show the login screen, things go dark (black screen).
    WHY? How do i resolve this?

Thank you for your time in advance.

I am in the same boat. It would be nice to rid myself of this USB stick but it working well thus far.

May I ask what you are doing (or plan to) for WiFi ?

Thanks!
