Can I hackintosh this laptop on Snow Leopard?

I don't know the exact model specs of the laptop, but judging from the specs here...

Heres a video of someone succesfully hackintohing on 10.5 but with model number 0768 not 0689 like mine

So would Snow leopard handle this fine?

It will depend primarily on the graphics device. Run 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal to get details on it (PCI device id).

The Intel WiFi is not supported.

Yeah, i have a Wifi USB Compatible for that :) and alrighty will any Linux Distro work fine? Could I do this from a Live CD or is an installation mandatory?

Snow Leopard does not support modern hardware. Use of SL on new hardware is limited to creation of USB installer for a later release of OS X only.
