Laptop Recommendation for App Development (Xcode)

Hello,

I am thinking of hacking a laptop to work on developing apps while on the go. It wouldn't be my primary computer (I have a desktop at home), but I need something while I travel including my daily commute to and from work (~50 minutes on the bus).

I like the Buyer's Guide for desktops and was wondering if there is a recommended laptop that is easiest to make into an hackintosh and powerful enough for on-the-go App development.

If you're not an expert, the key is to find well written guide that is actively maintained.

Thanks. Your right in that I should pick something that someone (or someones) is actively on top of. I'm definitely not an expert but I can follow directions (got me this far). So I want to make sure if something goes wrong in an update, someone can solve it ahead of me and I'll follow.
