And Yosemite is not available anymore from the MAS unless you downloaded it previously.
i apologize for that, i only said that because as i said before i had no access whatsoever to a MAC run machine .. and i cannot afford one because they're very very expensive where i come from (26000 L.E for a macbook pro 2014 edition! and 30000 for the iMac) so i had to find my way out .. i know it's not right and i feel bad about it, but i have no other way ... i hope you understand and sorry again .. :)

Two choices:
- borrow a Mac from someone you know so you can download and prepare your USB
- purchase a Snow Leopard DVD from Apple, and install it first, so you can download and prepare your USB (after upgrading to 10.6.8 and getting the Mac App Store working)

right, this done, do i have to format the entire internal drive or the clover would allow me to format one particular partition?

Clover doesn't do any formatting (it is a bootloader). The OS X installer requires GPT. If your Windows install is not GPT/UEFI, you will need to transition it to GPT or wipe it and re-install. OS X has special requirements for the GPT setup as well.

It is all in the guide...

Hi, just registered on this site because I want to find the cheapest laptop I could buy from chainstore retailers that fully supports Hackintosh.

What are my options? Any laptop below 500 that can run El Capitan with working wifi and everything?

The main thing is finding a well-written guide that describes what works and what doesn't for your prospective laptop.

There are some clues in the FAQ.

hp 15 ab030tx laptop be hackintosh pls reply.. spec i5 5th gen 8gb ram 2gb nvidia 940m

How are the compatibility for these laptops?
Lenovo IdeaPad 100, i3-5020U Broadwell, Intel HD Graphics 5500
HP 15-AC128CA, N3700 Braswell, Intel HD Graphics 5500? http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04791282
Acer Aspire E5-574T-5365, i5-6200U Skylake, Intel HD 520 http://caen-store.acer.com/nx-g35aa-001

This process is weird, man. I am trying to understand how I should go about to obtain a laptop that's compatible with Hackintosh.

Should I write down all the guides that are available for laptops here and then go look for one that's on the list? Or should I go to stores and look at what they have and then look for a guide on here?

What I find difficult is that there isn't a master list on what's compatible right now, so I can't just go to the compatibility list and see if the laptop I want is on that list.

I believe there is a thread in the laptop support forum or here in this forum. You should search for it.

HP 15-AC128CA, N3700 Braswell, Intel HD Graphics 5500? http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04791282

Braswell is not HD5500. Braswell graphics are not supported.

Acer Aspire E5-574T-5365, i5-6200U Skylake, Intel HD 520 http://caen-store.acer.com/nx-g35aa-001

Keep in mind Skylake issues identified in the FAQ.

Find one with a well written guide that identifies all items working *and* not working.

In General, good candidates:
- Sandy Bridge Core i-series laptops (kind of old, unsupported USB3 with latest OS X)
- Ivy Bridge Core i-series laptops with Intel graphics (although these are now kind of old)
- Haswell Core i-series laptops with Intel integrated graphics
- Broadwell Core -i-series laptops with Intel integrated graphics (keep in mind DVMT-prealloc issues, see FAQ)
- Skylake Core i-series laptops with Intel integrated graphics (DVMT-prealloc issues, and not everything is working, Skylake is new)

In all cases, keep in mind WiFi BIOS whitelists, soldered WiFi, etc.

What I find difficult is that there isn't a master list on what's compatible right now, so I can't just go to the compatibility list and see if the laptop I want is on that list.

Closest you get to a 'master list' is the guides forum(s).
