I did apply your RTC patch and reapplied the "AppleRTC Patch for CMOS Reset" from Multibeast.
Will test.

What else can I check on the shutdown issue?

Chimera 4.1.0 from the current Multibeast (7.5)

I had previously but will try it again.

EDIT:
Shutdown patch 1 showed no changes so did not apply
Shutdown patch 2 was applied but no dice.

There is also a shutdown fix option in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. I'm not sure what it does, and I'm not sure it addresses the shutdown issue you have (which has now been lost...)
