Hi all,
I have been attempting in vain for several weeks to get a new build hackintosh up and running. Here is where I am at...
System is built and BIOS settings completed per tonymac guide.
iBoot loads and I am able to read retail Snow Leopard Install disk.
Screen with Apple logo come up and spinning wheel starts.
After a few minutes, I get an error that indicates I need to restart the computer. The error is displayed in multiple languages.
I have retried hardware connections multiple times and even purchased another new hard drive (have tried a 64GB kingston SSD and 1TB WD Caviar).
One observation, in BIOS set up (Standard CMOS settings menu) it does not show any hard drives listed.
Has anyone encountered this error/problem? Suggestions on resolution?...I am tempted to give up and buy Windows OS but really would like to avoid this...
thanks!
