Hey all, long time Mac user, but new to the forum and new to building a Hackintosh. I want to build a kick-ass Mac, along with a decent gaming PC. Hence I went with the 980 Ti. Anywhere here's the details of the planned build:
Case: Evolv ATX Tempered Glass
Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A ATX DDR4
Processor: Intel Core i7 6700K Processor (4 GHz, 4 Core, 8 Threads, 8 MB cache)
Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (managed to find one on ebay)
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 850 W Gold G2 Series
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz C15 XMP 2.0 Enthusiast LED (RED)
Cooler: Corsair CW-9060025-WW Hydro Series H100i V2 240 mm Extreme Performance
Wifi: TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Dual Band Wireless PCI Express Adapter
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive x 2 (one for mac, one for windows)
Does this all look and sound okay? Does it matter that the GTX 980 Ti is from ASUS and not EVGA?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
