I am trying to install sierra on my Lenovo ideapad 300 15 inch Core i3-6100U 4GB ram 500gb hard drive Intel HD Graphics 520 128mb ram. Whenever i boot from my flash drive that i have created (following this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/) I get a kernel panic. While googling it i thought it was the graphics ram, but in windows it shows 128mb and what i found was it had to show more than 96mb, too that shouldn't be a problem. I have FakeSMC.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup.kext, Lilu.kext, VoodooPS2Controller.kext in the other folder plus an ethernet kext. I have also tried it following this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ any help would be nice. I will upload picture.

windows is not the best way to determine DVMT-prealloc

which is in the the FAQ:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

also follow the clover guide and update your hardware profile as per rules

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

So i need to find 01030303 00002002 00005001 and change it to 01030303 00003001 00009000 in AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer kext where do i find this kext?

You can do it with Clover's KextsToPatch.

Okay so using clover configurator I added it (see picture). I will then change it from config_HD520_etc to config.plist and place it on the efi portion of my flash drive, then will test it. Also thank you for your help I am sure it gets very frustrating dealing with noob's like me. I hope it works.

Okay so i did as I said above, i used clover configurator to add the KextsToPatch, but i still get the cpu 0 kernel panic (see screen shot)

. I don't know what is wrong? I will attach the EFI from my flash drive as a zip, the config.plist i used the most recent time I got the kernel panic. What I did is I downloaded these configs https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config and opened the config_HD_520 one (because i have HD 520 Graphics on my laptop) in clover configurator and added the necessary KextsToPatch using clover configugrator (see screen shot)

And then I renamed it config.plist and put it on the flash drive in place of the other one. To create the flash drive i followed this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ by RehabMan.
Can't figure out what i did wrong/what i forgot? Any help would be great?

I have two ram slots and only one 4gb stick is this a problem? it says that DIMM0 and DIMM1 are empty why?

Thank You

Your problem appears to be a memory problem.
You need to fill out config.plist/SMBIOS/Memory such that it represents your physical memory configuration.
Because it is obvious from your preboot.log that no memory modules are detected/published in the SMBIOS info data:
Code:
0:100  0:000  Type 17 Index = 0
0:100  0:000  Ignoring insane frequency value 0MHz
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Speed = 0MHz
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Size = 0MB
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Bank/Device = BANK 0 ChannelA-DIMM0
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Vendor = <null string>
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->SerialNumber = <null string>
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->PartNumber = <null string>
0:100  0:000  Type 17 Index = 1
0:100  0:000  Ignoring insane frequency value 0MHz
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Speed = 0MHz
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Size = 0MB
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Bank/Device = BANK 1 ChannelA-DIMM1
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->Vendor = <null string>
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->SerialNumber = <null string>
0:100  0:000  SmbiosTable.Type17->PartNumber = <null string>
0:100  0:000  Boot status=0
0:100  0:000  Running on: '80Q7' with board 'Paris 5A8'

It is not surprising the system crashes if it detects no memory installed.
You can get memory details from CPU-Z on Windows.
Read Clover documentation for details on config.plist/SMBIOS/Memory.

Okay so the first kernel panic was caused by the ram, I put in the ram information and it now will start to boot I get the little bar and it loads for a while and when it's about two thirds of the way I get the following kernel panic.

Don't know what this one is except it seems to be with the gpu? If you could check the config.plist and see if I have any thing wrong that would be great.
Thank you
