Kernel Panic after 10.9.3 Update

Hey guys, I recently upgraded to 10.9.3, only I installed the TRIM Patcher as well thinking it wouldn't hurt. The problem is that I don't have an SSD.

I managed to boot via unibeast and delete IOAHCIFamily.kext. When I reinstalled it, I got this kernel panic: http://www.tonymacx86.com/attachmen...ifamily-kext-problems-img_20140616_165430.jpg

Can anyone help me out?

After some research it looks like you need to delete AppleTyMCED.kext from S/L/E.

Boot to your recovery, open Terminal and run the following command.

rm -rf /system/library/extensions/appletymcedriver.kext

That should get you going again.

Awesome, it worked! I suppose it wasn't the kext I thought it was at all, it had simply reinstalled AppleTyMCED.kext. Since I labeled my machine as a mac pro 5,1, it requires that that kext is absent. Thanks a ton, glad there are people like you to help.
