Kernel Panic after 10.9.3 Update

After some research it looks like you need to delete AppleTyMCED.kext from S/L/E.

Boot to your recovery, open Terminal and run the following command.

rm -rf /system/library/extensions/appletymcedriver.kext

That should get you going again.

Awesome, it worked! I suppose it wasn't the kext I thought it was at all, it had simply reinstalled AppleTyMCED.kext. Since I labeled my machine as a mac pro 5,1, it requires that that kext is absent. Thanks a ton, glad there are people like you to help.
