Issues with Z68X-UD3H-B3 Install

I don't remember telling you to downgrade the BIOS to F12 version?

I was originally on F10 and went to F12. Going back, I think I misinterpreted your post on 2nd page to "doubletrouble" (#12) to not use UEFI if you want HDMI to work.

Sorry man, I'm switching over to UEFI and will do a clean install to see what's up.

Try the DSDT solution on UEFI. HDMI A/V will not work without the DSDT.
If you need HDMI A/V then extract a DSDT and save it as .dsl format and attach it.

Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 F12
I5-2500K SB
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB
OCZ Agility 120 SSD (OSX)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB (Files)
Sony Optiarc (Whatever was recommended for my build at the time)
Best Connectivity PCI Express IEEE1394b
Corsair TX550M

Bios was adjusted per the tonymac guide, although I don't have vt-d and some posts have said to turn it off...

Boot with -V GraphicsEnabler=No you should be able to boot in and delete AppleHDA from S/L/E.

MiniITX FTW!

Here's my system components:

Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 UEFI
i5-2500K SB
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB
OCZ Agility 120 SSD (OSX)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB (Files)
Sony Optiarc DVD
Best Connectivity PCI Express IEEE1394b
Corsair TX550M
NZXT H2 Classic Silent Mid Tower

I had some issues installing ML 10.8.2, but MiniITX was gracious and patient enough to help me through it.

1) Hooked up all my components and left them that way (didn't disconnect anything, other than peripherals)

2) In UEFI BIOS I did the following extras in the peripherals menu

VIA 1394 Controller set to DISABLED
Internal graphics set to ENABLE
Init Display First set to IGFX

3) I installed OSX in Verbose mode up until the MultBeast stage

4) Used the following settings in MultiBeast

User DSDT or DSDT Free
ALC889 without DSDT
3rd Party SATA
TRIM (for my SSD)
FAKE SMC
Realtek Gigabite Ethernet
Legacy USB
USB 3.0 Caldigit
Chimera V1.11.1
1080 Patch (so my display resolution would save after reboot)
SSDT - Sand Bridge i5
Mac Mini Profile

BAM! ethernet, integrated audio, HD 3000, manual/auto sleep, everything works like a charm:)

except for my USB 3.0 ports...so far. Any help there would be great :)

I'm in the process of running CCC to create a bootable recovery drive. Weird thing is, that the backup says it's 8gb but the drive is 24gb...?

USB 3 - Install USB3 kext available in Multibeast.

CCC backs up everything except boot loader. When you restore the CCC backup, boot from Unibest USB drive and run Multibeast with DSDT or DSDT Free option selected and reboot.

Enjoy the build
