Issues with Z68X-UD3H-B3 Install

Everything worked great with Lion, but I've been trying for weeks to get ML installed correctly :(

Current issues:

Can only install in verbose mode (guess that's not really and issue)
Won't Sleep
Whenever I reboot, my screen resolution is totally messed (not saving settings on exit)

I used a few guides from different posts, but Gordos got me the furthest as it worked perfectly when I installed Lion for the first time.

Other things to note:
HD 3000 Graphics
i5 - 2500k SB
16 GB Corsair Vengeance LP
120GB SSD (Agility) for Apps

BIOS version? If you have not updated to UEFI suggest you update.
 
Its best you update the BIOS to the latest version available. Go to the website you will see the complete information with instruction about how to upgrade.

Note : Do not use the old DSDT after upgrading the BIOS to latest version.
The computer may work good without a DSDT file but, if you need HDMI A/V you will need a DSDT file.
Let me know if you need help with DSDT.
 
Upgrade the BIOS to U1h(UEFI BIOS) , thats the latest BIOS available.
 
Any reason not to use UEFI?
 
So whenever I download the bios update, it's and EXE. How am I supposed to use that? Shouldn't it be some other extension? Q Flash on the gigabyte updater doesn't recognize it.

EDIT: Finally got it, my winrar was locked up ;)
