Is my processor compatible?

Your mobo will work under SL (ivybridge is retrocompatible with sandybridge), you mightt have a problem with USB3.
Your processor is not compatible, I don't know if there is a work around.
This is ok with Lion (10.7.4 with the new kernel) and ML. Why running SL??

We've already established this.

Wow this post blew up after I posted last night. What exactly are you going to be doing with this computer that you need 64 GB of RAM? Remember by going with the 2011 chipset you are losing sleep and power management. Not a big deal for most people, but always important to remember.

He said he wants to run a server. For what server would he need that much ram? Idk.

correct, i will be running a server, and that why i need the ram. I just need to know if all of the parts i have are compatible with ML and are these all the parts i need to make a computer? Any tips or ideas?

All my parts are from the 2011 custobuild, so i think this setup should work.:)

If all are from the CustoMac Build and you follow the guides exactly, then YES your system will be 100% Compatible. Minus speedstep/sleep etc with 2011.
