You are missing in the Coffee Lake Buyer's Guide the Gigabyte Z370M D3H. I'm running High Sierra with a i7-8700 in this board for several weeks without any problems.

yah its time for a new system hope is coming soon

Did it!! Z370 Aorus Gaming 7, 8700K, Corsair H100i v2 water cooler 2x 970 EVGA Nividia in SLI, 16 mb of ddr4 3200 Ram G.Skillz zrgb , 2x140mm Corsair blue led. 1x 120mm Corsair Blue LED, 2x Samsung EVO 850 500GB and 1x M.2 960 Evo 500gb 850W Powerplant platinum. Wow they don't make them like they used too! I have a Fractal design(These are great) case with 1 side tempered glass LEDs are so pretty. Running 10.13.1 Need to test it now..
Let me know how this goes. Thinking about getting the same cpu + mb.

hey guys...it's like a bomb this cpu.
now I have to find a way to enable the quick sync on this new igpu

edit: as workaround for quicksync, delete nvidiagraphicsfixup and add intelgfx 0x59128086 and ig-platform-id 0x59120003
doing so quick sync is working

Great news about the CL CPUs!
Unfortunately, these are SO overpriced compared to the Ryzens, mainly because of short supply.
I would be nice if Apple began supporting Ryzen. I'd be all over them.
Though the price is decent on the i5-8400 (6C/6T) @ my local Micro Center -$220, Ryzen 5 1600 (6C/12T, very tempting) @ $190.

The Ryzen 5 1600 + Linux Mint 18.2 (which I'm using on my media server) is tempting me to use as an upgrade for my main PC, but I like macOS so much . . .

My life would be so much simpler if I was a luddite

Will this staff work correctly Core i5-8400 + Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming
(coz i want to use MicroATX motherboard )
