and I am successful
My Mac sys is pure vanilla

Great! I've actually switched back to root access, as it's easier to replace/modify files, but glad to see someone was successful with this method.

hi, my motherboad(DFI P55-T36) also use Intel 82578DC(VEN_ID 8086, DEV_ID 10f0), so put AppleIntelE1000e.kext 32/64 for 10.6 (1.0.2a) to /S/L/E/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins.

link up is nomal atfer boot up or reboot, but link up is abnormal, then kernel panic after s3 sleep.

Is the same thing on DP55WG generated?

workaround
1. onBorad GbE disable in BIOS
2. use USB Wireless LAN(802.11b/g/n/150Mbs) adapter
・PLANEX GW-USMicroN used Ralink chip

Installs perfect

No errors

Step 1:

In this tutorial in Step 3/4: drag NVEnabler 64.kext + IONetworking kext from
http://www.tonymacx86.com/Public/Intel Networking Fix 10.6.2 - IONetworkingFamily.kext.zip
then proceed to finish.

I installed SL update then and finally voodoo hda for sound.

See my post in "FireWire Issues" for fw security issue.

I still boot from cd.. it fetches all the data necessary for the boot up seq on time
and I face no issues now.

those include's AppleIntelE1000e.kext is 1.0.1.

1.0.1 is no kp. 1.0.2a is kp.

1.0.2b is no kp, but after s3 sleep , ethernet is down.

Now in INTEL DP55WG main board except firewire everything works fine!

I have difficulty with Sleep ...
...and without NullCPUPowerManagement.kext -> KP ...

Could you make available your DSDT.aml

@tony: Step 1/4, "Mac OS X Install Retail DVD" refers to the retail Snow Leopard upgrade disc, right?

Should I use tonymacx86-P55BootCD-nv2xx instead of tonymacx86-P55BootCD since I have a Nvidia GTS 250 in my box? Is there any reason not to?

@macshank: Did you use tonymacx86-P55BootCD or tonymacx86-P55BootCD-Intel?

And did you do anything special with your DSDT? I noticed we finally have one for the DP55WG on the DSDT Page...

IMHO, DSDT for DP55WG in dsdt database from another motherboard (supposedly GB )....
