install clover efi bootloader high sierra

I have already a EFI.zip file with all needed things for the EFI partition. I copied it there.

How can i install the the Clover bootloader there only for booting.

Your should use the UEFI versions up to r4961. Newer than that are for Catalina. You won't need emulated NVRAM.

It's still not working - I used "Clover_v2.4k_r4961-UEFI.pkg". I don't get an entry in computer bios for UEFI-Boot. ((before I already used package "Clover_v2.5k_r5098.pkg" for testing))

In which places is the boot loader located (partition active, file(s) xy, etc.)? Where can I look for it.

I removed "Apple" and "Windows" from EFI-Folder "EFI/APPLE" and "EFI/WINDOWS" and installed r4961 as trs96 suggested. thx very much. Can you explain this behaviour?

Now it's working nearly full. Sleep is missing (already turned on in clovers' config.plist) and a nvidia WebDriver for 10.13.6 (17G66) from NVIDIA.
