Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

Using I5 2500k + GA H67 MA USB3 B3 with 10.7.4
No need to edit any .plist, processor is recognized at full speed with working Pstates. :)

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

Ok so i did a restore from the time machine backup and working back on 10.7.3 but now i can't boot from the SSD i have to boot from the jump drive and then choose the SSD from there. Otherwise if it tries to boot in from the SSD the bios says boot00: ERROR

Re-install Chameleon onto your boot drive.

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

Z68X-UD7-B3 F9 with database DSDT, chimera 1.9.2
i7 2600

Updated 10.7.3 -> 10.7.4. using combo update.
Audio ALC889 and rollback required as expected.

Geekbench scores
10.7.3.: 11665
10.7.4.: 5446

replacing "GeneratePStates" with "DropSSDT"
10.7.4.: 11553

no further issues observed so far

edit: interim kernel panic (usually I have problems with my graphic card - assumed hardware issue) caused BIOS reset, just reapplying AppleRTC patch for CMOS reset also

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

ASUS P8P67 (patched bios 2303) with DSDT, chimera 1.9.2
i7-2600k
Update 10.7.3 > 10.7.4 combo update

delete GeneratePStates and add DropSSDT - didn't help :(
geekbench 10.7.3: ~16000+
geekbench 10.7.4: ~6000+

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

no changes since the 10.7.4 update - all works fine like before the update
turbo works well on ASUS P8P67-M Pro with patched BIOS. :headbang:

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

Well, do the update to 10.7.4, unedited org.chameleon.Boot.plist, the system startup, edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist with the proposed indication and start without problem.

NO ha sido necesario modificar nada.

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

Where can i check this PM kernel: MSRDumper PStatesReached?
In the Console i didn`t see such parameter.

Re: IMPORTANT: 10.7.4 and Unlocked Sandy Bridge CPUs [TEMP FIX]

The fix worked on my rig:
I7 2600k
ga p67a ud4 b3
12gb ram

i ve updated to 10.7.4 and substituted those 2 lines, however i feel that the computer now its either on idle or it goes really at the maximum off it s power that kind of sucks.. i hope they find a fix soon!! keep up the good job thanks for all the support!!
